Meet Kaitlin Lapham, MS, CMC and new ALCA New England Chapter Member
February 25, 2025 | New Member Spotlight
Where do you practice, Kaitlin?
I practice Geriatric Care Management in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
What led you to the profession of Aging Life Care?
I was influenced in college by my mentor Dr. Hancock who leads the Gerontology Dept. at UNC Charlotte, and shares her passion and positivity around aging. Additionally, I aspired to become an ALCA member and a solo practitioner after meeting Jennifer Szakaly (now an ALCA director!) while collaborating on client care while I was in college working as a Home Health Aide.
Do you have an area of expertise or specialty?
My areas of expertise include veteran benefits, dementia care, and caring for the caregiver. My goal is to connect members of the aging community and their caregivers with available support and resources, because ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’.
Tell us something you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy hiking, sending snail mail, traveling, and bird watching.
